Here's a picture from the summer of 2006 before the braces. Notice how long and flat my face is. It's a face only a Boston Terrier could love. :)

Are you a class lll? Are you having upper and lower?
I don't have a surgery date set yet. I am having my RPE installed next week and my oral surgeon is working on my models.
Yes I am having upper and lower as well as widening the upper.
Same thing I am having. But I'm not getting an RPE. The surgeon will just break and widen the upper when he does the lower. How long have you had braces on?
I have had my braces since October and the orthodontist has not made any adjustments since July. I can't believe how quickly he moved my teeth. Braces have come along way since the last time I had them in 1982.

You very brave to do this. My case is different. I am ashamed to say I am 52 now and considering braces again and jaw surgery. I am very afraid since I went to 5 people who came up with different plans surgery wise. I have no chin anymore and my bottom teeth are so crooked I cry looking in the mirror every day. Braces are $5000 + and $30,000 + for surgery. Then Im afraid I will have mouth pain after for the rest of my life if I pick the wrong people because people told me it will happen.Tell me how to decide.
I wish I saw this site a long time ago, then I would have done some before and after pictures. I hope everything is much better with you. Do you still have numbness? I just had upper, lower and chin lift surgery on June 9, and it was very difficult to drink as I still have numbness in the lower lip and chin, and around the nose area.
