Surgery is over

I had surgery on December 18th at 2pm. It ended up being leFort 1 with chin reduction. Whow is it slow going. I think I ate a whole 6oz the first day, 24oz yesterday and hopefully 48oz today. I started with a 10cc syringe working my way up to a 30cc syringe yesterday. Today I have been able to sip out of a cup. Tried some blended chicken and mashed potatoes that is still a no go. Presurgery Bite

I have enclosed a picture of my bite before surgery. I just had my last adjustment on my braces today and will be seeing the oral surgeon tomorrow. He plans on taking some impressions and explaining the upcoming procedure to me.

Sorry I haven't posted anything the last 4 months but it has been an uphill battle with my insurance company. I was preauthorized for the insurance in Oct of 2006 but the preauthorization expired before my braces were ready for surgery. Getting it reapproved has been a 4 month nightmare.

Here's a picture from the summer of 2006 before the braces. Notice how long and flat my face is. It's a face only a Boston Terrier could love. :)
