Surgery is over

I had surgery on December 18th at 2pm. It ended up being leFort 1 with chin reduction. Whow is it slow going. I think I ate a whole 6oz the first day, 24oz yesterday and hopefully 48oz today. I started with a 10cc syringe working my way up to a 30cc syringe yesterday. Today I have been able to sip out of a cup. Tried some blended chicken and mashed potatoes that is still a no go. More pictures to follow this one is 24 hours post op.

That's some good swelling!

Hang in there. It just gets easier from here. The food stuff is very hard for the first week. Being able to use a cup was helpful for me. Mmmmm, milkshakes! (I don't think I've had a milkshake since!!)

No milkshakes since, huh I don't blame you. They are all begining to taste the same.

Yeah, they just kind of lose their appeal after a while. I didn't mix up my diet that much so it was almost all I ate. (Yeah, really smart of me.)
